Preguntógrafo 1 is an educational book for first grade (6-year-olds) published by the Uruguayan company Ídice, which specializes in innovative learning materials adapted to the current needs of education.
My work ranged from developing the characters—making sure children could see themselves reflected in them—to designing each page based on the content provided by the author.
We first created Bruno and Emilia, then the Preguntógrafo, who guides and accompanies children throughout the book, and finally the teacher as a supporting character. It was a very fun and creatively challenging process, and we were very happy with the final result.
The book has 150 pages covering all subject areas according to the current curriculum, while also incorporating practical everyday learning. It includes a wide variety of creative activities—such as word searches, map and plan reading, board games, songs, cutouts, and drawings—designed to spark children’s curiosity and support their logical thinking.
