UX/UI design

IM ON is a UX/UI project focused on helping friends connect spontaneously and making independent events more visible. The app allows users to share their availability, suggest plans in seconds, and coordinate meetups without relying on endless group chats.

Rather than functioning as another social network, IM ON removes likes, algorithms, and social pressure. Users decide when to be active and when to take a break from social life, respecting different moods, energy levels, and personal boundaries.

The project was developed through a user-centered design process that included desk research, surveys, card sorting, benchmarking, and the creation of user personas. Insights from research directly informed the information architecture, feature set, and interaction design.

The final solution combines shared social calendars, mood-based availability, event discovery, and simple plan creation into a clear, accessible interface. IM ON transforms a common social friction into a calm, usable experience designed around real behaviors and emotional needs.
